Susanne M. Wherry concentrates her practice in all areas of civil litigation with an emphasis on appeals law, consumer protection law, personal injury law and domestic litigation. Ms. Wherry received her law degree from the Temple University School of Law, where she received the Barrister’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy, and her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. While in law school, Ms. Wherry developed litigation skills while working at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia, and the Henry County, Georgia Solicitor’s Office.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Wherry worked for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, Georgia where she was responsible for drafting memorandum of law and recommendations for the disposition of federal appeals. Thereafter, she worked as an associate at one of the largest domestic litigation firms in the Southeast, Kessler, Schwarz & Solomiany, P.C. where she focused on representing individuals in high-profile, high net-worth, and complex-income domestic matters. After relocating to back to the Philadelphia area in 2005, Ms. Wherry joined a general civil litigation firm in center city. While there, she successfully argued to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania the rights of a third-party biological father to challenge an acknowledgment of paternity, resulting in the precendential decision of R.W.E. v. A.B.K. and M.K., 961 A.2d 161 (Pa. Super. 2008).

Ms. Wherry is a member of the Pennsylvania and Georgia bars.
